The Australian Wedding Shop Story

Australian Wedding Shop is located in the picturesque and relaxed city of Perth, Western Australia.  Established in 2008 by a young lady named Anne Selwaness, the business changed hands in late 2010 and is now currently owned by Helen Shaw.

Helen’s background was predominantly in the fashion and jewellery industry.  Prior to owning Australian Wedding Shop, Helen owned Helen’s Fashion, where she designed a wide range of casual and formal wear that were successfully marketed in Australia and Japan.   She then ventured into distributing high end fashion jewellery items and later on marketing fine jewellery collection under the I Love Her Collection brand.

Australian Wedding Shop offers a vast array of wedding and event products including favours, decorations and accessories - with gifts, bridal wear, formal wear and jewellery to be added shortly.

A number of changes were introduced recently including:

-          the upgrade of the website to a more robust and user-friendly platform

-          installation of an SSL Certificate

-          introduction of quantity pricing discounts

-          free shipping for WA customers and for those who orders products worth $200 or more

-          additional payment options

-          a Live Chat facility

Also planned to be implemented shortly are:

-          provision of product samples

-          provision of printed or printable product catalogues

-          wider selection of personalised products

-          special pricing for corporate clients and wedding professionals

-             stablishment of a retail/showroom outlet in Perth
